The technical support engineer is responsible for answering incoming phone calls and e-mail queries from customers and colleagues and addressing their questions and concerns, as well as troubleshooting any technical issues they may have.
Providing over the phone technical support to customers and colleagues
Promotion of the Technical Support Centre to all customers and colleagues at all times
Development of the Technical Support Centre operating procedures and performance in conjunction with the Head of Technical Engineering.
Supporting Project Manager and engineering technicians on projects
Supporting the Spares Department with identifying spares/parts
Assisting the Service Manager and providing information to enable preparation of Service quotes
Advise Service Manager on deployment of engineers to service call outs.
Assisting Projects & Installations Manager on information required for installations.
Assist Procurement Manager with identifying accessories.
Supporting applications with Sales support as and when required.
Providing customer solutions for their engineering issues
Building and maintaining customer relationships.
Developing a close relationship with their Principals.
Mentoring junior engineers, trainees and apprentices
Management and utilization of Salesforce
Demonstrating and engaging others in the Company Core Values
Any other duties which may be appropriate to fulfil the present and future needs of the business.
