Sales & Procurement Officer (DW3173)

Salary:

£20K-£30K

The Company:

My client is a UK Company specialising in Air Quality Monitoring and Management. They are seeking a detail orientated, thorough, and organized sales/procurement officer to assist with carrying out registering on the web procurement portals, managing incoming e-mail notifications, keeping the systems up to date (web portals and CRM) and inputting the relevant content for service and maintenance tenders and sales opportunities within the air quality monitoring sector, the work entails working mostly with local authorities and some private consultancies.

 

The Role:

  • Ensure cost effective quotations are submitted and monitor the market
  • Create and maintain good relationships with the procurement personnel and customers
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain records of contracts, analytics, pricing and other important data
  • Review and analyse all procurement processes
  • Develop plans for effective sales and service strategies
  • Maintain and update list of customers and potential customers
  • Work with team members to complete duties as required

 

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy and systems
  • Two years previous experience as procurement officer or related position
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook and Excel) and Microsoft CRM
  • Ability to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Ability to negotiate, establish and administer contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
  • Goal orientated, organized team player
