Business Development Manager – Leaflet Distribution

Due to tremendous growth my client has an opening for a creative BDM with experience in Print and Leaflet Distribution

The Role:
• Sell their print and leaflet distribution services to clients in Greater London
• Businesses types include health and fitness, estate agents, education, food and take away, political parties and other SME’s across Greater London
• Deliver agreed annual revenue target
• Manage an existing portfolio of clients and those brought into the business
• Where appropriate visit clients, picthing via face to face meetings
• It is estimated this role is 75% new business / 25% account management
• Generate own opportunities from scratch and through warm leads, managing the sales process from initial contact to invoice
• Manage an existing portfolio of clients, encouraging repeat business from your portfolio
• Promote their web based booking system to clients where appropriate
• Accurately inputting all activity in real time on the MIS system
• Working in partnership with colleagues and other internal teams to ensure that customers get a good service and the company operates efficiently
• Deal with and manage client queries to a successful close as they arise

• An understanding of the sales process / formal sales training would be an advantage
• Experience of print and or leaflet distribution
• Familiar with CRM or MIS systems
• Good Microsoft office skills
• High level of enuthasium and resilient in the face of disappointments
• Able to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels (internally and externally)
• Able to build strong working relationship both internally and externally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent telephone skills
• High degree of accuracy
• Able to prioritise work load and manage peaks and troughs effectively
• Understand when to escalate issues or hand over work to other colleagues
• Self-aware and understand impact on others
• Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative
• Positive, curious and outward looking
• Reliable
• Sociable
