Business Development Manager

Salary:

£25k - £50k + Car Allowance + commission (Negotiable)

Location:

UK

Area: 

North East/UK (flexible work from home or office)

 

The Company:

  • Large family owned B1 Litho and Large format digital print company with offices in the North of England and South East
  • Operating at the forefront of marketing communications & providing pre-media creative print & installation services for over 30 years
  • Delivering innovative visual communications for the UK’s leading retailers & corporations from banners, tension-fabric light boxes to presentation brochure packs & office stationary

 

The Role:

  • As Business Development Manager, you will develop profitable sales by acquiring new client accounts for the Company through networking, following up on sales leads and cold calling
  • You will retain and grow existing accounts by offering new products and services to meet their needs

 

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out prospecting activity to identify, develop and build relationships with new clients
  • Identifying key decision makers within prospect accounts
  • Following up on allocated business leads to identify new business opportunities
  • Contacting and meeting with potential clients – growing, maintaining and leveraging networks
  • Creating persuasive presentations, taking into account the client’s needs and objectives with the aim of converting prospects to customers
  • Carrying out negotiations and handle objections by working through issues and concerns to achieve positive outcomes
  • Building business with existing clients by presenting new product and service ideas to them
    Looking to develop new solutions to meet existing customer needs
  • Attending industry events and conferences and provide feedback on trends and future developments
  • Researching organisations and individuals (using social media) to identify new leads and new markets

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a sales and or marketing role, preferably in a B2B
  • Print industry experience is desirable but not essential
  • Proven track record of identifying, developing and securing B2B sales opportunities
  • Good knowledge of print market and competitors, the solutions and services the Company provides to customers in all sectors
