Continually seek new leads with existing and new customers who may benefit from the company’s products or services and maximise customer potential
Enhance and develop long term customer relationships though managing, interpreting and executing their requirements
Negotiating with customers to deliver the best product and service to satisfy their needs in terms of quality, price effectiveness and delivery
Engaging key suppliers for technical and commercial support
Customer support for specific existing Key Accounts and acquisition of new customers.
Calculate Customer Quotations and Administer their accounts
Provide Pre-Sales technical assistance, trials, product education and after sales support
Maintain and generate new business opportunities for their portfolio of cutting-edge products and remain up to date with latest technology and innovations
Prepare and analysis costs, sales and customer savings records for all accounts as necessary
Achieve Sales targets and coordinates sales projects
Liaise and support with all other operational functions within the business
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences or other marketing events
Cooperation with Global Key Account, Engineering, Marketing, Corporate Functions and Production Plants.
Preparation of market analyses and detailed consideration of the KPIs as well as achieving the resulting measures.
Ideally working in a similar role within the Metal-working Industry in distribution or with an OEM, although candidates who can demonstrate they are ready to step into such a role will also be considered,
An engineering based degree or similar would be advantageous
Be able to demonstrate excellent technical and sales knowledge
Have an engineering background (machine tools or automation ideally), sales skills and the potential to manage a business as well as confidence in your ability to do so.
Strong communication skills are vital. The company are a solutions provider and applicants must be able to adopt solution type selling.
Be self-motivated and focused with a passion for technology and an aptitude for customer excellence and satisfaction
