Account Manager

Salary:

£40k + bonus + car/allowance + pension

Location:

South East

The Role:

Are you a technically minded Account Manager based in the South?

Do you want to work for an international family owned business with a wide range of training opportunities?

If so my client could be the perfect company to offer you the next step in your career. As Account Manager you will promote and sell the company’s full range of Instrumentation, Services and Solutions. 

You should be an experienced Sales Professional who can expand existing client business as well as attracting new business through a consultative selling approach.

  • Take personal responsibility for managing business within the account base and develop the top accounts using the account plan template, to set goals and actions.
  • Build a strong network of contacts and develop relationships to satisfy the needs of both the customer and the business
  • Provide a clear vision of potential customer development working closely with colleagues to develop the plan.
  • Utilise the support within the business and ensure you have a clear understanding of the company offering, working closely with the Sales, Services, Marketing and Solutions processes.
  • Liaise with customers both face to face and in virtual meetings, maximising your best use of time.
  • Promote a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to build a trusted persona, one their customers can rely on.

 

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification, minimum HNC/HND is preferred but not essential
  • Marketing experience preferable
  • Excellent consultative selling skills

  • Strong team player but also able to work alone
