Kirstie Whitehead joined Key Recruitment in 1995 as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant within the Print Industry. Due to her success and hard work she soon progressed up the career ladder to Divisional Manager and in 2002 was promoted to Sales Director. She has built the company up from employing 4 to running a successful team of over 30, leading by example she still runs her own desk as that is a part of the job she truly loves, and with over 12 years experience her knowledge and contacts are second to none. Kirstie is a well known character within the print industry, once met never forgotten, and it has been said many times what she doesn't know is not worth knowing. She has a refreshing approach to recruitment as she does genuinely care about getting it right. Although it would appear to look at her butter wouldn’t melt, she is known for having a Tom Boy streak being a hustler on the pool table and liking a flutter on the gee gees. She is also an excellent cook, as she has trained with Italian and Indian chefs in the past, and many of her weekends are taken up entertaining and cooking for her friends and family.

Dawn Saunders has been with Key Recruitment since 2001. She has worked her way up from Resourcer to Senior Print Consultant and to date has been very successful. After completing the popular music BTEC Jonathan made the decision not to pursue music full time. He moved into sales which he instantly took to. After being successful in both residential and business sales, in the telecoms industry, he was pointed in the direction of recruitment. Since joining Key in March 2007 Jonathan has been busy establishing himself as a specialist consultant within the Direct Mail industry. Dealing purely with sales people he has quickly picked up knowledge of the industry, enabling him to pro-actively find suitable candidates to meet client requirements. Outside Key Jonathan is usually either socialising with friends or continuing to develop his music in different areas.

Being one of the oldest consultants at Key (but still convinced he looks the youngest!), Lee graduated from Edge Hill University with a degree in Design Technology. He joined Key Recruitment in 2000 as a Trainee Consultant in the Packaging Industry. Since then with his proven successful track record he has progressed to become a key member of the management team, responsible for the Packaging and Ingredients & Raw Materials divisions and a dedicated team of 7. He has a real love of music, being a regular 'gig goer' of both old and new music. So when he is not down the gym trying to improve his pot belly he can be seen 'dad dancin' in one of Manchesters many live music establishments.

Tasked with the role of establishing the technical side of the packaging sector, Helen has not only set a foundation of clients and contacts within the packaging manufacturing sector but also within the end users on the packaging development side. Due to the size of this growth Helen now has a sole focus on Packaging Development for the FMCG sector as well as covering all aspects of the Packaging Reprographics industry. A member of the management team, Helen has managed the Southern office since 2002.

Initially responsible for all areas of the Ingredients Industry, her focus now lies very much in the food sector, which includes a broad range of ingredients and flavours. Having spent time living and working for Key in Italy, Helen can truly appreciate first hand the global nature of this fast moving industry and the necessity to not only create but to be part of a dynamic and successful team.

After studying Accountancy and working in the chemicals sector for 9 years Dave Hume joined Key Recruitment in 2001 to develop the newly targeted packaging machinery sector. The rapid growth saw Dave promoted to Senior Consultant and in 2004 promoted to Divisional Manager overseeing the packaging and print industries. The need for specialised recruitment within the engineering field has seen the division change dramatically and now covers all high speed machinery within packaging, print, materials handling and encompassing the associated sectors including drives, controls, pumps, instrumentation and measurement industries. In her spare time Nerys is learning power kiting in order to move on to Kitesurfing and is hoping to update this section in the near future to show that she has become an accomplished Kitesurfer. Julie Woodward joined Key Recruitment in November 2000. Initially Julie’s job title was Training Manager, however she now undertakes all the HR issues for ‘The Key Group’, along with inducting and training all new employees. She also assists the Management team with employee appraisals and ongoing training for the company, organsing days/nights out and incentives which have included trips to Alton Towers, canoeing, horse riding, paintballing to name a few. Julie is the only non-drinker within the company, she teaches aerobics one night a week and goes to the gym in her lunch breaks. She has recently starting running, competing in the likes of the ‘The Great Manchester Run’. She is also a keen skier and takes her two young sons skiing weekly and enjoys at least two ski holidays a year! Julie is one of the most energetic people in the Key Group, even though she holds her hands up to being one of the oldest!

Ramona joined Key Recruitment in 2006 as a Resourcer & is now dedicated to the Packaging & Raw Materials team. Having successfully gained GNVQ's & NVQ's in Art, Design & Graphics Ramona went on to work in the clothing industry. After working abroad in Tenerife it is fair to say that Ramona most certainly has the gift of the gab. On her return she went on to work at a temping recruitment agency in Manchester where she was promoted to Office Manager. Now being the dedicated Resourcer for the Packaging & Raw Materials team she is developing her experience in specialised recruitment with the hope of moving her way up to being a consultant in the Packaging team. In her spare time Ramona likes going to the gym, socialising and mainly singing the weekend away on stage with an ice cold G&T.

Tammy started with Key Recruitment in May 2007. Settling quickly into her role of Dedicated Resourcer, she works alongside the Capital Equipment & Consumables and Drives & Controls divisions providing vital support to the team. Tammy's aim is to work her way up to Consultant with the intention of becoming a Senior Consultant within the company. Tammy thrives to do well and aims to work towards a good future with Key. In her spare time she is keen on singing and drama after having gone to a weekend drama school for 6 hours every weekend for a good number of years. She has also performed as Lady Macbeth at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2005, in her company's own version of Macbeth. She left weekend drama school when she left school and decided to work. She never gave up being a drama queen! Tammy also enjoys going out and socialising with her friends and generally having a good time, balancing work with play.
